A week on, Daniel has recovered well. He had a few days of being extra grumpy but all in all not very dramatic at all. Once again our community here have really looked after us with lots of meals, childcare and treats for the other kids being left on our doorstep.
Now we are trying to tackle Daniel's reflux so he had a bloodtest today to check for allergies and we started him on LoSec which has been a salvation for some of our friends with reflux babies.
The big kids are doing well, although Ethan had a tummy bug last night and threw up twice in the car. Not pretty. He was feeling very sorry for himself by the time we got home. He kept asking whether Immy would "sick up". Not, I fear because of brotherly concern but due to his ongoing feeling of being hard done by as the neglected eldest of the family!
We are pretty much decided on a school for Ethan. We have visited the three local ones and have been most impressed by Matipo Primary School. They have great resources including a media room where the kids can make short films which are put up on YouTube each day. Another big plus is the music and arts room.
We have also started to think about preparing Immy for kindy. There are about 4 other little girls her age amongst out circle and they will be starting kindy about the same time. We have started having some princess coffee mornings to get them all more acquainted.

Had a look at Matipo's blog/website, all looks great, and very interesting for young ones.
Ian, your Dad enjoyed your call to him for his birthday.
Love to you all
