We are still crazy busy in the Wroe household and that looks set to continue until Christmas. New Zealand effectively shuts down on the 24th December for the summer. Nothing of any consequence will happen until February other than barbecues, trips to the bach and camping. we will be trying our hand at camping come january. Hopefully to a new site on Hot Water Beach with 3 other families with young kids.

I'm sure I have already mentioned, but Ian has gone from working half the week in Wellington to sharing an office with me! He is doing some consultancy work for the charitable organisation (HOBANZ) who work closely with my law firm. Ian has also started his own company - www.goodteam.co.nz.

The kids are good. Moving Immy into a big bed a few months ago has not gone so well. She loves it and has stopped falling out - but she terrorises poor ethan and us all evening (they share a room). She is up and down and it has frequently been almost 9 until she eventually passes out. Ethan meanwhile still falls asleep after 2 minutes. One night I found her curled up in bed beside ethan with her arm flung round his neck. He was in the same position he had been in since i put him in bed.

We have cut down or even eliminated Immy's daytime nap. That hasn't worked completely though, so the last few nights she has slept in the travel cot in our room until it is time for us to go to bed. It was meant as a punishment or a threat if she didn't settle in bed but she seems to prefer it, asks for her cot and is invariably asleep within 5 minutes. We'll just have to go with the flow for a while I think.....

Hot Water Beach is delightful, we had a few days there with Kevin and Margaret in a bach right opposite the beach last March. Hope you get to have a few days camping up there in the New Year. Kids look like they are enjoying the Christmas festivities.
Love to all from Liz and Dad.
