Apologies for blog silence - quick catch-up

It's been a long time since I have had a chance to blog as we have been so busy! Here are a few photos but someof the key events are missing. Ian'swork on the shed continues. He was caught napping on the roof one afternoon between bouts of charging his electric drill! He has now moved on to creating a covered pergola on the deck so that we can use the deck more this summer (it was too hot last year with no shade). Shed still only has 3 sides however!

Ian had a great 40th birthday! The boys took him out canyoning during the day last Saturday. Lots of running up rivers and jumping off waterfalls in the Waitkeres, the Ranges on our doorstep. In the evening we had a black tie dinner for 10 at Bundy Mansions. Hoping to get some photos from the Bundys of the event. I wore my wedding dress. It was fun to wear it again.

The sun has been out a lot so Ethan has spent a few afternoons playing in the sandbed and paddling pool with his friend Isabel. It doesn't take long before they both strip off all their clothes. Lots of very cool photos but none suitable for public viewing I'm afraid.

Immy is very cute and has her father wrapped around her little finger. Not that she demands much at the moment - but she does get very excited when she sees him after a day away. She has cut one front tooth and the next is not far behind.

Ethan is going to Kindy next term. 3 afternoons a week starting mid-October. Quite a change for all of us. It's not my first choice Kindy, I would prefer him to go to a pre-school round the corner so we may move him there in February. It has a longer waiting list.

Ian is still job-hunting. Prayers for something good in NZ still appreciated....
