Free aerobics!

I have just got back from the free aerobics session that is run at the Community Centre at the top of the road. It's a kind of boxercise class run by a lady who must be close to 60. It's great fun with lots of good old dance music like "It's raining men", "Grease Lightning", "Tragedy"... you get the picture. There's a great mix of people there. A few guys and women of every shape size and age. I am really feeling a part of the community here now. We've been here a year almost (in fact we got an anniversary card from our estate agent today!) and I was able to pick out the local librarian at the class (a bloke) and a few other shop owners and locals. There are a about 4 of us mums from playgroup who go together and have a good laugh. There is another session on thursdays that i will try and get to as well. Great time to be out of the house (between 6 and 7) but a bit hard for Ian to be left on his own.

Meanwhile back at the ranch, Ian has been coping with a fairly sickly crying baby and a boy who wants non-stop stories. He's also on cooking duty tonight - and i've forbidden him from making spaghetti bolognaise - i have been promised a chinese beef dish.
