Little Ben is now doing very well. He has been moved from intensive care to the High Dependency Unit. At church yesterday his dad described him as now looking like a very sick child as opposed to a dead child which is how he seemed for along time. He is off the respirator - and today his big sister even got a smile. It looks like there is no serious brain damage but there are a number of conditions that could develop down the line so we need to keep praying. There is still some pond scum in his lungs causing infections and hurting his tummy when he coughs it up and swallows it.

Ethan was very sweet last night. We haven't talked about Ben with him for a few days but he was with us at church. When we were saying our goodnight prayers last night Ethan prayed "Tink you God making baby Ben better", aaahh!

Today has been our first day of rain in a long time. I have had a house full of kids for most of the day. We had 3 of Ethan's friends over this morning and this afternoon looked after Ben's big sister. The house has been carnage for most of the day. Fortunately for Ian he has been at the office all day.
