Happy New Year!

Amazingly we were still awake at midnight last night to see in the New Year with a bottle of Sparkling Grape Juice followed by Sparkling Apple Juice - it's the second bottle that gets you! We actually spent most of the evening sitting in the sleepout while Ian painted and I chatted with our friend Ellan who came over to have a drink with us.

Reflecting on the past year we have been struck anew by what an amazingly full year it has been. We are thankful to God for many things this year including:
  • Ian's new job at IBM which he started this time last year
  • a wonderful month in the UK
  • an amazing time in New York meeting new people and getting to know old friends better
  • a healthy and comfortable pregnancy (so far!)
  • God's timing over the pregnancy with the birth due when Ian's mum and step-dad are staying with us
  • our new house
  • Ian's ability to work from home and not having to travel abroad
  • getting more involved at Vineyard West
  • deepening friendships
  • The Marriage Course
  • new friends in our community
  • a healthy, happy, energetic toddler
  • the privilege of being able to stay at home and look after Ethan
  • family who are willing to travel thousands of miles to spend time with us
  • getting involved with Bible in Schools
We're looking forward to an awesome 2008!

Matthew 18:10, Jesus said:
"See that you do not despise one of these little ones. For I tell you that their angels in heaven always see the face of my Father in heaven."
