We headed off to Brooklyn again this weekend. This time we spent saturday at the Zoo at Prospect Park. It is aimed at children. They have sea lions, kangaroos and wallabies, lots of birds, meerkats, otters and prairie dogs. They is a petting barn where you can feed the sheep and goats and alpacas. The alpacas looked hilarious because they had just been shown. I couldn't manage to get a photo of them unfortunately.
Ian had a bit of a tummy bug so that put a bit of a damper on Saturday evening. Nonetheless we had a relaxing night at Mike and Char's flat and a good morning in church on Sunday. It was Mother's Day here. Ian forgot about it, or at least whenever he remembered he was too busy or too sick to do anything about it. I had to make do with his usual levels of loving attentiveness.
Today ethan and I are planning to go off to a local playgroup mjhbjbhhrtgghhfe = that was ethan's contribution to the post. Time for a shower!
