What a great movie! Yes, we had a night out at the cinema. Courtesy of our good mates Jo and Phil. Ian had helped them with a bit of DIY so they took us to the cinema. Our neighbour kindly babysat.
Loved the movie! None of the silliness of the last Brosnan one. In fact it completely ignores all the previous Bonds. Judi Dench is still in it as M but not sign of John Cleese or his character. Craig was a bit wooden at first but grows into a pretty good Bond. Much darker and more violent in a way than some of the others. Consequently closer to the Fleming books.
We are off for a few days camping today. I say camping but actually we are staying in a fully swept-up cabin on a campsite on the coast just north of Auckland. Will report back soon.
