Another beautiful winter's day

Ian and James are out in the Bundy's garden chopping wood for the fire. Dizz and I have been out for a bit of shopping and a coffee, leaving Ethan with the men. James & Dizz celebrated our good news with us last night and we decided to stay over. Typically Ethan had a fairly unsettled night and he ended up in our bed with us as the only way to ensure everyone got a decent night's sleep.

We have had Ian's draft contract through. Some of the elation has been replaced by the realisation that it will be back to work with a bang and long hours at that. We have had a great time over the past 2 1/2 months. Now it's back to 4 weeks holiday entitlement after a "continuous 12 months service". He will be employed by Carter Holt Harvey reporting directly to the CEO. Their central office is in South Auckland rather than the CBD. That could mean we have to rethink living in West Auckland. We will find out some more details next week. This weekend is a public holiday to mark the Queen's Birthday so we have to wait until Tuesday to iron out some of the details in the contract.

I have taken some more photos with the Bundy's camera so I will post them when i track down the cables. Our relatives will be delighted to hear that we can send them DVDs soon of Ethan's latest escapades now that we have a computer.
