Father's Day
This Father's Day Ian got to watch some very big boys' toys in action. We have been forced to cut down a large silver birch from our front garden. It was growing into the electricity and telephone cables and was a bit of a hazard in stormy weather. I was sorry to see it go but it was fun watching it come down.
Ethan is sad because we said he can't have a chainsaw for Christmas. He is going to buy a blue one when he grows up apparently - Immy's will be red.

What a pity the Silver birch had to come down, but safety first. Hope Ian is feeling a bit better, his Dad really enjoyed Ian's call, a very nice Father's Day in the Southern Hemisphere.
