It is finally less humid here now. Back to pleasantly warm temperatures. We had a lovely weekend which included a Tear Fund fundraising dinner held at our church building. There was a good turnout of about 60 people. It was to raise funds specifically for Tear Fund's relief efforts in the Gaza Strip. They are working in conjunction with the local churches there to provide some small measure of relief to the devastation there. Then on Sunday we ate leftovers from the dinner at our church picnic in Henderson Park.

Today Ian has the kids for the day as I am off for a day in the city to explore employment opportunities. Best be off....
