We had a wonderful day today at Muriwai Beach. The Williamsons are staying with us at the moment and Ethan is loving having 2 little friends around. Thea is 4 1/2 and Dulcie is 2. He and Thea have been playing games together and having a great time. They loved the blacksand at the beach and had a great time coating their legs in black mud and chasing each other around with watering cans. Immy loved the sand too - a bit too much really as she kept eating it.
We spent a good couple of hours on the beach - the men even went for a swim (in their undies as they left their swimmers in the car) - then had ice cream at the playground. We came home and had Thai takeaway once we got the kids into bed. Will took some photos so i will post some soon.
