Birthday Boy - 3rd Birthday

Ethan's third birthday dawned bright and sunny. He woke up very early as is usual these days. We fended him off for a half hour before bringing him into our room to open all the family presents. Very generous as ever!

We bought him his own little toolbox and some tools to put in it and a real mini claw hammer. He spent the morning bashing things on the deck with Ian before his party.

Unfortunately, Immy started showing signs of chicken pox on Friday evening. We had to ring around everyone on Saturday morning so a few people cried off the party. We still had a good crowd though. Not many photos I'm afraid as batteries died on us! We borrowed sometoys from playgroup and filled the back yard. A few party games went down quite well- pass the parcel and eating chocolate fish suspended from a string without using your hands. I think the adults enjoyed their go at that more though - Ian won the eating race.
