Holiday!

It was a cold autumn morning this morning so it was hats and woollies for us. The sun was out though, so by lunch time it was pretty hot. Hot and dry enough to mow the lawns, something I didn't manage to do while Ian was away.




We have just booked a week's holiday for the end of July when my mum is visiting us. As she is already grumpy about coming in the winter time, we thought we should do the winter in style and head to the south island. We are going to spend a week at Hanmer Springs which is 90 minutes outside Christchurch and 40 minutes from a ski field. We will spend the last week of July there just before Mum heads home again. Hanmer is famous for its outdoor thermal pools which look just amazing. Check them out Hanmer Springs
