Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year

I thought I better post something to acknowledge the passing of the festive season. We had a lovely day here. We spent Christmas morning at home. Ethan seems to understand a bit about Santa. On Christmas Eve when asked he said he wanted Santa to bring zarows and a book. He got his wish and of course lots of other lovely presents from family and friends.

We intended to go to the beach before lunch at the Brickells' (our Pastors) but it started raining just as we were leaving the house and didn't let up for most of the afternoon. As we spent the rest of the day tucking into some gorgeous food it didn't matter too much. From there we went to some other friends for a BBQ.

Since then we have been mooching around at home, hanging pictures and doing other jobs that have been hanging around since we moved in. Ian has got stuck into his project in the garage. He has insulated the roof and laid a new floor. Our holidays should start properly on New Year'sEve when we will head to Mission Bay for a few days.

Nothing much else to report - I am feeling big and cumbersome. Just 3 weeks to go to due date.
