Christmas Carnival

We had a fun day on Saturday starting with the Te Atatu Peninsula Christmas Parade. Santa made an appearance and there were a few nativity floats but mostly it was just like a summer carnival with lots of dancers and musicians. For some reason this band were all dressed up as giant fish.

Later we headed to the Zoo for the IBM family Christmas party. Ethan wasn't too impressed with Santa Claus - their first meeting. He couldn't be persuaded to give him a high five never mind sit on his knee. He did go in for some face and hand painting though.
