We managed to move all our stuff from Daffodil Street to Yeovil Road on Saturday afternoon after our parenting seminar. The seminar was great even though the attendance was quite disappointing. We must have sent out about 6,000 leaflets but only 30 people turned up! Ethan coped with a full day of childcare much better than I thought he would. He even managed to have a fairly good nap in the prayer room.
Ian had a couple of strong lads from church to help him load the van while Jo and Phil kept me company at the new house. We had the first load in by about 8.00 then sat down to takeaway. Ian and Phil had a burst of energy and set off again after that to collect the rest of the stuff including important things like the fridge. By midnight they were done. Jo and helped me unpack a fair amount of stuff.
Ethan has been a bit unsettled the last few days. It could be the move or he may be teething. To give him a bit of familiarity we went to our usual playgroup today at the Steiner school in Laingholm. A 20 minute drive from here - or 3 plays of our Wiggles sample CD.

Hey there ex-neighbour!
Really glad you're all safely installed! Things are very quiet in our neck of the woods - it's a bit ghostly! You see we're missing you already! Also Sarah, Rhiannon has had a dose of tonsillitis - Sunday to Tuesday, she may have unknowingly passed it on to Ethan!Hopefully catch up for a cuppa soon!
love Ilona
I miss the Wiggles cd.....!
