We have had a very hot couple of days here. I loved it this morning playing tennis in the sun for a couple of hours. Plenty of factor 30 sun cream on of course! Ian has been busy going in and out of the city meeting various people. No formal interviews lined up as yet but lots of contacts being made and lots of people making very encouraging noises.
Yesterday we had a great Skype conference call with 3 mates in the UK. The wonders of technology - a free call between Auckland, Cambridge, Oxford and Bristol! Great to catch up with the Birches, the Dormans and the Hayhursts.
Tomorrow is Thanksgiving in the States. We have invited our house group round here for a Thanksgiving dinner. I think it's a great reminder to count your blessings. We have been pretty rubbish at getting to hosue group. we can't blame Ian's job anymore. last week we just forgot it was a thursday!
hope to get more photos up soon. i am just about to try and edit the last couple of hours worth of camcorder footage!
