Photo madness

There follows a serious of photos of our vaults to give some of our friends near and far a clue about what we have been going on about for the last year. The order is a bit haywire in places as I haven't yet figured out how to move them around. I don't have any digital photos of the very start of the work when all the rooms were dark and dingy holes. Basically what is now our den used to be for storing coal. We think the two bedrooms were cold stores for food and the bathroom was a water tank. You can see from some of the photographs of the underpins just how far the lads had to dig down to build in new foundations under the existing walls.

This is why we think it was such an answer to prayer that no-one got injured moving all that clay.
